Canillo is synonymous of nature, mountains and tranquility. On top of that, it is known for being the gateway to Grandvalira, the largest ski area in the Pyrenees.

 

Canillo is also a religious symbol of relevance in the country and integrates the majestic Meritxell's Sanctuary, which contains the image of Andorra's patron saint. The sanctuary has a modern structure and far away from conventional aesthetics.
