The Entremesaigües route is located in the Madriu-Perafita-Claror valley, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The route is 4 kilometres long and can be completed in about an hour and a half. Moreover, it is a circular route on which there is a difference in height of +280 metres, which is then descended again.
The path starts about 100 metres above the beginning of the road from La Plana to Engolasters in the parish of Escaldes-Engordany. Go up the Camí de la Muntanya and follow the cobbled path marked with yellow dots.
When you reach the Boïgot fountain, located in front of a mountain house, the path leaves the forest and flattens out, crossing the river Claror and Perafita on a couple of small platforms.
The path then links up with the GR11 until it reaches the Entremesaigües huts and bridge, the end of the excursion. The return path descends to the left along the GR7, along the cobbled path of Madriu to the starting point.
