The artist Judit Gaset is the author of the sculpture called "La Sirena" (The Mermaid), since it is dedicated to the mythological being of the same name. It is located in the artificial lake of the Park de la Mola in Encamp, where it can be visited since 1995.
Gaset’s goal was to represent the mermaid as a voluptuous and strong woman coming out of stereotypes and canons of beauty, and so he did, because even today we can see her, the owner of the lake.
