Between 25 January and 29 March, La Massana and Ordino will host a series of lectures, films and documentaries related to mountains and travel. The events will be held at the Fontetes Theatre and the Andorra National Auditorium, depending on the format.
Wednesday 25 January at 9 p.m.: Lecture at the Fontetes Theatre by Kris Ubach, entitled "Lives on the road. The great American itineraries: from the US-66 to the Blues Route.
Thursday 2 February at 21h: Film at the Andorra National Auditorium. "Upurkushun", by Auréline Lardy, is about a group of eight young French people who go on an expedition to Peru.
Wednesday 8 February at 21h: Lecture at the Fontetes Theatre by Toni Pou, entitled "The most extreme journey: Leaving Earth and going into space".
Thursday 16 February at 21h: Film at the Andorra National Auditorium. "Sa Llavor", by Tòfol Castanyer, a project that seeks to raise awareness of the value of the Serra de Tramuntana.
Thursday 2 March at 9 p.m.: Film at the Andorra National Auditorium. "The freedom of ski mountaineering", by Sílvia Puigarnau, Gerard Riart and Anton Òdena. The video "Esperit Skimo" and the documentary "Els valors d'un equip" will be shown.
Wednesday 8 March at 21h: Conference at the Fontetes Theatre by Sergio Otegui, entitled "Todo lo que aprendí viajando con poco dinero (y mucha improvisación)" (Everything I learned travelling with little money (and a lot of improvisation).
Thursday 16 March at 21h: Documentary at the National Auditorium of Andorra: "Manaslu, lights and shadows in the heart of the Himalayas", by Gonzalo Fernández García.
Wednesday 22 March at 21h: Film at the Fontetes Theatre: "Stalking Chernobyl: exploration after the apocalypse", by Iara Lee. It deals with the underground culture of the exclusion zone.
Wednesday 29 March at 21h: Documentary at the Fontetes Theatre: "The world with 195 trips", by Eduard Micas, an Andorran who has visited more than 50 countries.
