The capital of the Principality fills with colour to celebrate the second edition of Andorra la Vella en Flor.
Under the slogan "la vie en rose", Andorra la Vella celebrates this floral event from 2 to 13 June, which will dress up the most emblematic areas of the district.
This year's proposal will include 16 points decorated with large floral structures along Avinguda Meritxell, Parc Central, Guillemó and Princep Benlloch squares, Callaueta and Sant Salvador streets, Pasaje Europa, Prat de la Creu, and Prada Casadet.
The event will also include the historic Casa de la Vall, the former seat of the Andorran parliament, in addition to all the points of interest mentioned above.
Some of the structures in the exhibition have been created by Daniel Santamaria, an internationally renowned floral artist and member of the Barcelona School of Landscape Architecture.
In the case of the pieces located in Avinguda Meritxell and Callaueta street, the exhibition will remain on display until September, bringing shade to most urban areas of the capital.
Andorra la Vella en Flor was born in 2022 as a proposal that seeks to promote tourism in the Andorran capital, highlighting points of interest with lots of colour and art. Due to the success of the first edition, this year the programme has been brought forward with the intention of encouraging visits beyond the high season.
The new feature this year will be a competition on social networks that will reward the best photograph published on Instagram with a 300 euro voucher to spend in any of the participating shops.
