The church of Sant Jaume dels Cortals is located in the forest of les Allaus, in the Cortals Valley (Encamp). The building was inaugurated in 1999 and is perfectly integrated into the landscape.
The interior of the church is very austere. It has wooden benches and a beautiful carving of St. Jaume, as well as a stone altar and a sink with small stained glass windows. The building houses dozens of campers during the day of Sant Jaume dels Cortals, which is celebrated on 1 May.
*A curiosity is that the chapel has the bell tower about 20 meters away.
