Among all the existing churches in the Principality, this one has a special grace. As it can be seen in the photograph, the church of Saint Antoni of the Grella is a construction attached directly on the wall of a mountain and is located on the banks of the river Valira del Nord.
The building that we can contemplate nowadays is a remodeled version of the real church, since at the time the tunnels of the Grella were build it was damaged and it had to be repaired.
This church is dedicated to Saint Antoni Abad, patron saint of the muleteers.
