Roc del Metge Fountain

The Roc del Metge Fountain, located in Escaldes-Engordany, is known as one of the hottest fountains in Europe. Its water goes up to 70 degrees, and on colder days, the temperature drops between 55 and 60 degrees.

Due to its size and flow, the fountain is used as a central reservoir of thermal water in Andorra. The main consumer is Caldea, which on average uses about 35 m per hour to cover most of its facilities. But it is not the only user, really, the deposit of the Roc del Metge distributes to much of the entities, hotels, locals and even dwellings of the parish.

Location: The Roc del Metge Fountain is located on the Barri road, in Escaldes-Engordany. Just before arriving to the avenue of the Tosca Bridge, going upwards, it is necessary to turn to the right and go into a brief slope that leads to the fountain.
