If anything defines Andorra's gastronomy, it is tradition and its charming restaurants that, for the most part, have been part of family legacies that continue through each generation.

The case of L'Hort de Casa is no exception to this rule, since it is a restaurant with a family essence and more than 25 years of activity in the Andorran market.

The origins of L'Hort de Casa date back to 1998 with the opening of the first restaurant in Erts, parish of La Massana, creating a space where quality cuisine and friendly service were the fundamental accompaniment in a typical Andorran building surrounded by a great natural environment.

It is in 2019, almost 20 years after its creation, that L'Hort de Casa moves to the village of Arinsal, establishing its new location in a large and cozy 19th century borda, surrounded by an imposing landscape and located meters from the Comapedrosa Natural Park.

The current borda has a warm interior lounge distributed in two floors with capacity for 70 diners and a central fireplace as the main protagonist, where the cooking of meats and other preparations are carried out according to the traditional dynamics in this type of establishments. It also has an outdoor terrace available during the summer season where its 15 additional diners can enjoy an impeccable gastronomy with the Pollós River in the background.

In the varied and tasty offer of L'Hort de Casa we can find the essence of Aragonese and Andorran cuisine with dishes made from seasonal and carefully selected products. The infallible grilled meats, the classic cargols a la llauna or foie-gras, the famous "Migas a la pastora" with fried egg and grapes, or fish such as cod loin with marinara sauce, are just some of the dishes that we can enjoy in this outstanding restaurant that brings a perfect closure to each visit with its homemade desserts. All this is very well complemented by an interesting selection of wines of different styles and nuances.

Salad options such as duck confit with nuts and balsamic, or soups such as chickpea noodle soup, also offer ideal choices for every season of the year, as well as alternatives for vegetarians or people with gluten intolerance.

It is worth mentioning that L'Hort de Casa offers its customers seasonal menus such as calçots and some additional services such as wifi or parking.
