Located nearby the ruins of the old Castle of Les Bons, in the parish of Encamp, the church of San Romà de les Bons was built in the middle of the 12th century, and shortly after, it was consecrated on January 23, 1164.
The structure of the church is based on a rectangular room and a semicircular nave facing east.
However, the church shows a great amount of Andorran Romanesque art, as it is covered by a barrel vault. Inside you can enjoy original Romanesque and Gothic paintings from the period.
